In Bologna, a two-day event is scheduled for the TeRABIT project, marking its one-year anniversary. On June 25th, there will be a public conference titled "Networks, HPC, and Cloud Computing: Opportunities and Challenges Created by National Research Infrastructures."
On June 26th, the project protagonists will take the stage with a workshop dedicated to HPC resource users, featuring practical labs and demonstrations.
The event will be hosted at the Congress Center of the CNR Territorial Research Area.
This event is organized as part of the TeRABIT project (Terabit Network for Research and Academic Big Data in Italy), funded by the PNRR.
The program includes participation from Michele Mazzola, Head of the General Directorate of Internationalization and Communication at the Ministry of University and Research, and Carlo Cavazzoni, Head of Leonardo Lab dedicated to HPC and Chair of the Industrial Advisory Board of ICSC National Research Center in HPC, Big Data, and Quantum Computing.
Throughout the day, project partners will present use cases and contributions on the evolution of national research infrastructures and federated services for users as objectives of the TeRABIT project.
You can participate in the conference by completing the registration form by June 10, 2024. While in-person attendance is highly recommended, video streaming will be available.
