Silvia Calegari is the Infrastructure Manager of TeRABIT

The National Institute of Nuclear Physics has selected, through a public competition, the role of Infrastructure Manager for the TeRABIT project.

Silvia Calegari, a project manager with a degree in Computer Science and a PhD in Semantic Web from the University of Milan-Bicocca, will fill the role for a period of 30 months. Silvia Calegari has over 15 years of experience in managing applied research projects between the university and companies in various fields (Information Retrieval, Content Management Systems, Social Learning Management Systems, with topics related to citizen science) with more than 50 scientific publications at international and national level. She is a lecturer for the "Enterprise Social Network" course of the "ICT Management" Master's programme at the University of Milan-Bicocca.

Among the tasks envisaged in the profile are those of supporting the scientific coordinator of the project, acting as a link between the financial officer and the various financial management structures, monitoring planned activities, identifying risks and opportunities in the implementation of the project, and preparing documentation relating to the project's progress.
