Job Opportunity as a Technologist

Within the TeRABIT project, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) is seeking 3 technologists to support activities related to the management of computing systems and networks, informatics, computational applications, and software development. The deadline to submit applications is the 21st of February 2024.

This is a significant opportunity for those wishing to contribute tangibly to research and innovation. The chosen candidates will be involved in activities such as implementing and managing HPC computing resources, deploying distributed computing infrastructures, developing cloud middleware, user support, and much more.

The selected individuals will be employed on a fixed-term contract for 12 months and will work at one of the locations in Bari, Catania, or at the CNAF in Bologna.

To participate in the selection process, a master's degree in one of the following fields is required: aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, naval engineering, energy engineering, physics, medical biotechnology, computer science, mathematics, statistical sciences, or an equivalent degree. Furthermore, proficiency in the Italian language is essential.
