The TeRABIT project, funded with 41 million euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), represents a significant step forward for Italy in the field of scientific research.
Through the integration of advanced digital infrastructures and a cutting-edge fiber optic communication network, TeRABIT will enable Italian researchers to access high-performance computing resources with a data transfer speed of one Terabit per second, equivalent to one trillion bits per second.
In the interview on GARR News, Mauro Campanella, scientific coordinator of TeRABIT, provides a comprehensive overview of the impact this project will have on the technological growth of our country, strengthening its position in the global context of information and communication technologies.
